It can be stereotyped that most men don’t particularly enjoy going clothes shopping with their partner for the partner, as they become bored and distracted. A possible idea would be to have a section in a shop with comfy sofas/armchairs where gentlemen could sit while their partner tried on clothing, there could be refreshments offered. A possible partnership with a particular coffee brand such as Starbucks, so they could additionally be offered refreshments. There also could be small iPod docks, at level with the sofas, so that they could put their iPhone/iPod in to charge and then be provided with headphones. This customer service is going to ultimately make the customer happy, and provide an experience. If both customers are happy, they perhaps will be more likely in purchasing an item. This would suit brands such as Urban Outfitters, Topshop or department stores, only for selected stores.
